Terms of service

1. Using Loom

Loom is a Mac app that runs agents on your own Mac, with an account and a model service we provide. You need to be at least 16 and give a working email address. Keep your Macs and account secure; you are responsible for what happens on them.

2. Your agents act for you

Agents take actions you set them up to take, using your own accounts and websites. You are responsible for those actions and for following the terms of the websites and services your agents use. Loom asks for your OK before risky actions unless you choose otherwise, but agents can make mistakes: check their work where it matters.

3. Acceptable use

Don't use Loom to break the law, harm others, send spam, get around security or access controls, or overload other people's services.

4. Plans, top-ups and billing

  • Prices are in US dollars and shown on the pricing page. Usage is charged against your balance as your agents use models.
  • A plan renews monthly until you cancel. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep what you have, including one month of carried-over usage.
  • Unused plan usage carries over for one extra month. Top-ups and the free starting grant never expire.
  • A top-up nothing has been used from can be refunded within 30 days of purchase; plan usage is not refundable.
  • When your balance reaches $0, agents stop until you add usage or your next cycle begins. Nothing is charged automatically beyond your plan.

5. Your content

What you and your agents create is yours. We use it only to provide the service, as described in our privacy policy.

6. Early testing

Loom is in early testing. Features may change, and the service may be interrupted.

7. No warranty; limits of liability

Loom is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

8. Ending

You can delete your account at any time in the app. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.

9. Changes and law

We may update these terms and will tell you in the app if a change matters. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA.
