What Loom can do

Loom agents work on your Mac, in your browser, with the folders and accounts you give them, and only within the rules you set.

Agents

An agent is a helper with a job. Start from a ready-made one, Morning Brief, Research Watch, Scout or Tidy a folder, or make a plain agent and describe the job in your own words. Each agent has its own instructions, rules, memory and dashboard. Talk to it like you would to an assistant.

Routines

Give an agent a schedule, every morning at 7 or Mondays and Thursdays, and it does the job on its own. Routines keep going when Loom's window is closed. Run now runs one straight away, and Home tells you if anything didn't run.

A real browser, on your Mac

Agents read the web in a real browser on your own Mac and connection, so sites see an ordinary visitor. For each site you choose whether an agent may look and read, fill in forms, or submit, book or pay. You sign in to sites yourself; the agent never sees your password, and the sign-in stays on your Mac. When a site asks you to prove you're human, Loom hands the check to you.

Memory

Agents keep notes as they work: what you like, what they found, what to do next time. Share a note with every agent or keep it with one. See where a note came from and earlier versions, and Forget for good anything you don't want kept.

Connections

Pictures

Ask an agent to make a picture from a description: a card, a poster idea, an illustration. It's saved in the agent's Library and can go on its dashboard. Agents can also look at a picture you give them and describe it.

Dashboards

Each agent keeps a dashboard of widgets up to date: lists, tables, charts, prices, a week view, forecasts, maps, galleries and more. Pin the ones you care about to Home. See every kind of widget. Tables live in the agent's Library, where you can edit them; the agent never overwrites what you set.

You stay in charge

Each agent has Rules: for using the web, changing or deleting files, sending, sharing, posting, paying and signing in somewhere new, choose Always, Ask me or Never. Questions wait under Needs you with Allow once, Always allow or Not now. Every step an agent takes is recorded, and its spending is shown per agent and per run.
